I'm an experienced Node.JS developer and I've previously done a lot of work scraping websites asynchronously for later displaying via an API. I'm pretty interested in doing this project - I've estimated a fairly high delivery time of 10 days as I don't yet know the layout or content of the 20 shopping websites you're interested in scraping. However, I don't foresee it taking that long in reality. This seems like it should be quite simple in theory, the solution would be split into a few parts - A restify/express API to receive requests - A parser for each website - A database or cache for holding onto data to ensure scalability I'd like to chat a bit more about milestones and a bit of clarification of if you just want the API and what kind of website you'd like to work with.
