jCal Pro Mini-Calendar modification

This calendar fits well, except it doesn't express the difference
between two or more categories. Every event is marked orange, where
the client wants the calendar to mark each "category event" with a
different color. In example:
The days they are closed: Marking color => red
The days where an event (ie workshop) is happening: Marking color =>
blue
The "big" version of the component does show this difference, so
perhaps you could use the code from the "big" version.
