I have a Centos 7 server (cloud) that I need a single machine to connect to with OpenVPN, lets call the server SERV and the client CLINT.
The cloud server SERV has a single public IP address (single interface) which I will need to use to connect to for the purposes of OpenVPN. When the client CLINT connects, it should route all network traffic through SERV. Equally, I need the ability to pipe any traffic hitting SERV's public IP on ports 80, 443, and 53 to route through OpenVPN to CLINT.
My usecase is I have a local VM that I need to use for some testing purposes for several external services to connect to while I do development work. To save on the extensive cloud costs for the resources needed, I would like to use a lightweight cloud server (SERV) to provide the external public facing IP, and route the traffic on those ports hitting the public IP to the VM on my local machine.
SERV and CLINT both run Centos 7 (latest) with ConfigServer Firewall (CSF). Full setup must be completed on SERV including any firewall configuration (access will be provided) with configuration sets for CLINT provided for me to connect and test. Lastly, I require TLS encryption to be used for the connection.
