Change Magento 2 theme to work with Elasticsearch module

Currently we have a Magento 2 website with the SM Market theme installed. We also have installed the ElasticSearch Autocomplete module ([login to view URL]). This module normally overwrites the default [login to view URL] file to use the [login to view URL] file that belongs to the. module. However since the template already overwrites this file, the module isn't working.
We are therefore looking for a certified Magento developer who can help us out to make changes to the template to make sure the quick search of the module is being used by the template.
