JOB DESCRIPTION/PERSON SPECIFICATION
JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Executive
BAND: Hello Properties Pvt. Ltd.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Marketing Officer
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
• Be responsible for lead generation and targeted sales whilst identifying new business opportunities and responding to industry trends and customer needs.
• To lead on the development of sales around our training and development services.
• Develop successful partnerships and customer relationships and build a position of Hello Properties Pvt. Ltd. involvement / influence across the sector
KEY TASKS:
1. To develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Hello Properties Pvt. Ltd.’s product and service portfolio, capabilities and other offerings from a sales and business development perspective.
2. To develop an in-depth public/Private sector expertise, connections and affinity and to establish an understanding of the landscape; issues; initiatives; legislative agenda; priorities etc.
3. To develop a business development plan, that will deliver annual sales in excess of Rs.12,00,000, and manage its implementation.
4. To generate leads for new business through research and contact.
5. To assist in the management of key accounts, including preparation and presentation of proposals to senior directors and managers.
6. To ensure that the relationship management activity for key accounts is monitored and recorded. In particular, keeping the CRM database up-to-date with accurate and timely information, after each customer contact.
7. To liaise with colleagues across Hello Properties Pvt.Ltd. regarding client liaison and business development opportunities.
8. To identify potential new business development opportunities.
9. To attend industry events as required.
10. To provide professional expertise and information to support all relevant boards, committees and working parties, including preparation of timely high quality written reports
11. To ensure that all stakeholders are kept suitably appraised of relevant developments and initiatives.
12. To maintain accurate sales revenue and business pipeline records and to help formulate business plans for the department as required.
13. Establish productive relationships with key decision-makers
14. Create opportunities to promote the work of / services of Hello Properties Pvt. Ltd. e.g. attending regional meetings, securing speaking opportunities; meeting participation; production of papers
15. To produce innovative sales tenders, sales proposals and sales contracts and ensure that Hello Properties Pvt Ltd is registered to receive sales tenders with all the appropriate agencies
GENERAL TASKS:
16. To attend functions / events outside normal working hours as required. A considerable amount of travel including some overnight stays will be required in this position.
17. To carry out any other duties as reasonably directed from time to time by the Chief Marketing Officer.
Budget Responsibilities:
Directly responsibility for generating sales of Rs.12,00,000/annum For BDE and For BDM Rs.24,00,000/annum.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Someone who has significant and recent sales experience and preferably someone who has experience of selling a similar range of products and services / business solutions. Ideally someone with experience of government procurement and selling into the public sector.
A candidate with one, some or all of these requirements would be the ideal candidate. Whilst experience of working in another professional services organisation will give candidates a feel for our organisation culture we also want candidates who are highly commercial and personally driven.
