We have an Excel spreadsheet that tracks the status and information regarding about 100 current jobs. We want to convert it to MS Access to allow multiple users, better reporting, better usability and easier entry and tracking of comments re status.
We will of course provide the existing Excel which will provide the fields needed. The new MS Access needs to have:
* simple New Job input screens;
* Status Comments: Ability to enter information regarding the current status of the job - needs to record the date of entry of each comment, and show the most recent couple of comments - prior comments can scroll out of view;
* Report Summary Page;
* Ability to Report in other ways, such as per Staff Member;
* Ability to calculate dates and highlight if something is overdue;
* ability to move the record to a Finalized List (which obviously retains all information);
We would like a Fixed Price for the creation. In the event of post-creation amendments we'll pay by the hour.
Fairly small job. Needs a quick turnaround once green light is given so that data doesn't have to be entered in old and new systems.
