Looking for an Android developer who has knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL server and asp.net. Background:- We are an IT company who has created a Visual Studio / SQL server application along with a not so great web front end using aps.net. I am looking to create a proof of concept android application that replaces our web front end to a native android application. Requirements:- A login page and a configuration page. Login page consists of username and password – SSL not plain text Configuration page consists of server name (IP address), username and password. Connections must be SSL not plain text. Once the user is logged in to the system they are directed to a Job Screen which shows Jobs allocated to the user that is logged in. (this information is provided by a SQL server stored procedure which returns the search results) Function:- The Job number will be clickable and when selected the Job details screen is open . The details screen is in three parts. Job Header, Job Lines and Job Parts. Each has a current stored procedure that returns the results. If proof of concept is successful we will be looking at continuing with the works adding the ability to amend job notes, add / amend job activity / add amend Job parts, upload documents to jobs. + More…

For SSL to work, we need to buy and deploy an SSL certificate on the server side. This will make the communication over HTTPS, which is a secure layer. I can do this part, as I already deployed a few SSL certificates on IIS server on web sites in the past. 2. Ensure that the authorization is implemented. Either it is forms based Cookie authorization with simple username/password or it is a basic authorization with username/password. We also have other authorization mechanisms, like JWT token, OAuth, SAML etc, but I am aiming for the simpler option. 3. Create the API for login, for fetching the job details etc, and use them in the AP. 4. Implement the Android APP and send you the APK file. I can develop the Androip app with Xamarin, to save time. Calls to Stored Procedure are easy. About connection security, I use to set up as "Trusted Connection" to avoid include User and Pass at Web Config. For SSL, you need to have the certified installed at your IIS Server.
