I need an app which has: - directory listings - Supplier profiles with gallery, company information, customer reviews etc. - Inbox/messaging system - User profile area - Quote request service where a user can submit an open quote and suppliers can respond (in a similar way to the way Freelancer works) The app will need to be built for iOS and Android devices. I am open to using a service like PhoneGap - I will need some advice on the best way to go about this. Also, if it is possible to code the site with HTML/CSS then this would be useful as I can edit it going forward. The product will also require a website portal for suppliers to log in and manage their business listings. This can include image gallery, promotions, services and availability. I'm not sure how this will be built - whether using Wordpress or another custom CMS - I will need your steer on this. This part of the project still required designing and prototyping. The suppliers' listings will be tied in to a monthly subscription or yearly payment - so I'll need some advice on how to tie this in too. Suppliers will pay a monthly/annual fee for their business listing to appear on the app. Customers will be able to contact the supplier through the app. There wont be any in-app purchases in the first phase. We will also require email notifications and push notifications on the app.

Hello! Thank you for the project description. Wow, the project is quite big piece of work. As I understand you are expecting the system for web, iOS, Android + web API that is auction with the lot (project or another offer) and biders. About English. I have passed TOEFL exam. I have C1. You asked about the technology stack. Actually, I am not a fan of writing multiplatform apps as iOS and Android are very different OS and all big companies rewriting now their hybrid apps back to native. So you can get 2 apps cheaper, but support will cost you more. The project is large. It needs good planning. I would start from one app, for example, Android (cheaper to develop and promote) + web API that is finished and well tested by real users to understand their real needs. Then it would be good to prepare iOS and Web platform. It would be also really good to apply Sprint method here - when the development is aimed to have some finished (accent to this word) functional blocks, so when there is no budget anymore you have some finished product in your hands. This approach requires precise project documentation and priority system. I would be glad to help you to write project docs after detailed discussion. 1500GBP is too small fee for this project.. Android, iOS and web - especially for people from Europe or Eastern Europe if you are going to hire the developers from this area.
