We have a Joomla website that requires MySQL database server to be a cluster. We have 2 new VPS with 6 CPU cores / 8GB RAM. It has minimal installation of CentOS 7. You will have root access to both servers. Both VPS are on the same data center (Atlanta, USA) and we will provide private and public IPs for both serves. Your job will be to install and configure the database service and database cluster based on MySQL or MariaDB on these 2 VPS (a cluster of 2 nodes). This scheme must be compatible with Joomla 2.5. Both VPS will be dedicated for database service. No other services will be installed. You will have to configure mysql or mariadb on both servers based on VPS resources: 6 cpu cores and 8GB RAM. It must be the optimal configuration. On interview, you will have to let us know the best solution for HA database for Joomla based on your experience. Explain all the advantages of your solution and other alternatives to be used. You will have to let us know which packages will be installed on both Vps before you proceed. No database restore will be required. You can import your own database for your own testing for the cluster. Our sysadmin will restore our database. You just have to prepare the HA database cluster so we can restore our database later and we will modify the Joomla configuration too. You must You will have provide technical documentation, for our sysadmin, on how to add more nodes to the cluster and how to recreate all the cluster scheme from scratch in case we migrate to another hosting provider. Addtionally, in this document, you must provide technical information on how to add or restore a new database to the cluster. These steps must be clear and complete so a sysadmin can understand it.

Hey there.. Well it would be great if you get a third low end server as well. This third one will be used for managment purposes and it makes possible to kill one of the other two vpses without having losing any data.. Also, this third can be used as a load balancer :) .. Now as far as the applications are concerned, we're going to use Mysql-cluster 7.1.X application on the two nodes and cluster these two vpses together. So let me know if you want me to do this project for you :)
