We are a pub quiz running each Monday in a pub. For the game we use a website (to collect answers from the playing teams). However we are playing in a cellar where 4G Internet is intermittent and pub's Wi-Fi does not provide good access everywhere in the room. We'd like to somehow improve their Wi-Fi and the pub agreed to let us try. However neither we nor them know much about setting up Wi-Fi networks, so we are looking for somebody to take this over.
The project will include the following:
- Provide the list of questions to the pub to better understand what needs to be done. We will pass them to the pub, get the answers and pass them to you to help you define the scope and the price.
- Come up with an action plan how to improve the connection to allow 20-25 connections from the playing teams. The traffic volume is rather low. It includes timer countdown and text exchange re replies to questions.
- Specify if any equipment is required. We have some own equipment, so we would prefer it to be used unless it is not suitable.
- Make all settings on the equipment as required. We will do all negotiations with the pub if required.
Please feel free to ask questions if you need more information.
P.S. This is a London-based job. You will need to spend some time in a venue to set everything up or otherwise have a plan how you will do it remotely.
