MySQL database help!

We have a small database that hosts a few hundred records. The coding is php (I think). We started getting email from user saying they can't log in. When we logged into admin control panel there were ZERO records. We have been adding new records but they keep disappearing. Can you help us restore the old names and/or keep the new ones we add from disappearing? This is an urgent problem. We keep getting email from people that they can't log in. Please help!
