The tasks of the project are explained as under:- Task-A: 1. New member sign-up process- e. Add the following field in the “login” page and if the member does not fill details, it should proceed to submit. It can repeat for 5 times then a message appears “Sorry your registration failed” i. Country ii. State / Region iii. City iv. Birthdate v. Religion We want you to add some kind of script (like 'Geolite City' - [login to view URL]) to the above page where the 'Country', 'State / Region' and 'City' of the person registering as a new user, can automatically to be filled in based on location they are logging in from. 2. Groups & Events- f. While creating Groups and Events, please change the default template to 'Neo'. g. On an existing Group page, please change the 'Create Reminder' link to 'Create Event' (under the 'My Events' sections). Additionally change the 'My Events' text to 'Group' events'. h. On the ' Dawah Network Global (Dawah & Islah)' group ([login to view URL]) you will notice that the 'About' section runs very long. We want to limit the number of lines that can be written here before it automatically goes into the next page. This 'About' section should then have links for all the pages at the bottom of this section (like how it appears in the main 'Video' tab etc. This should be true for all sections within the Group page (not just 'About' page). i. When you click on the 'Create Group' button, the html box for "Full Description" is a bit shorter than the text that is entered, leading to part of the sentence appear truncated. We want the CSS to be adjusted so that the text entered in this HTML box stays within the box width. 5. 'My Home' page changes- a. On the 'My Home' page, we have added the calendar on the right hand column. When a user clicks on this calendar's dates, it should take him to that date (events on that date) on 'My Calendar' page ([login to view URL]). b. Make the text in the 'My Wall' section font = '8 px' and not bold. This currently is of a bigger font and bold (specially where it says "type in your thoughts"). Secondly the text should be changed from "type in your thoughts" to "enter profile comments". c. The text that appears on the wall should also be changed to the above font. 6. Improvements on the 'Assign Groups' logic developed last time- a. In the administrator panel we have create a new page for 'Assign Groups' . This page currently does not appear in the list of pages that are available setting up "Moderator Access". In order to see this page in the control panel you will have to navigate by following this link in the control panel: Tools (on the top tabs) -> Moderators (on the right hand side tabs) -> click on the pencil icon by an existing moderator or click on 'Add New Moderator' (and select the moderator from the member list). b. The 'Assign Groups' page should appear in this list along with the check box to be able to select it (to provide access to the moderator). Once selected here, that moderator should have access to view and make changes on this page. Task-B: 3. In network emails- c. Currently when a text message is sent from one member of the network to another (Message -> Text) the member receives the messages in the Network inbox, and their actual email address (yahoo, gmail etc., that is used on their account settings) receives a notification saying 'you received a message.....'. d. We want these changes so that the actual message is sent to their yahoo / gmail etc., inbox as well. We want to develop a standard template in which this message will be embedded (something similar to what LinkedIn does) 4. Converting URL to SEO user-friendly as explained.
