Web Content Manager [like petfinder]

I design and maintain websites of animal rescue, I do not charge them because they just don't have the money. Most of the sites I do today are customizing petfinder sites ([login to view URL]) some of my custom sites are: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] not done yet, just started this one. [login to view URL]~IN106/ anyway you get the idea. By doing it this way once the site is up my updates are limited because they post their own animals through petfinders script. I have had many people ask for something more customizable as far as the pet posting goes because petfinder only allows a couple of generic templates for all of their sites. I would like a script very similar to petfinders with a few more customizable options for the rescues to use. It would have to be updatable by them with little or no HTML knowledge once I designed it for them, or better yet have templates that they can choose from and make their whole website themselves and have it be uniform throughout, and I wouldn't have to do anything but help if needed. I bought a domain specifically to set something like this up but I am so busy I have not even had time to try and make templates. Script writing is way out of my league also, I can install or customize perl and php scripts but writing them no way. I would be willing to pay for such a script but obviously since I don't charge them I can pay very much, so any animal lovers out there that might be willing to take this on? I would be more than happy to advertise your work and give you full credit. I would prefer it to be written in perl or php, my server doesn't do asp. I'm more comfortable with perl, but php is OK.
