PHP Web Application Projects (multiple)

Five year time in business, healthcare company, stable, strong D&B, growth phase, seeking to build a code team for web apps related to healthcare products, digital components of healthcare processes, patient compliance tracking, and related. We operate out of New England but bridge medical manufacturers, insurance payers, patients, hospitals nationally. Our current company is known nationally; we're seeking to develop the next series of endeavors which will all be software/workflow based. Our expertise lies in insurance, clinical, product development, and related. We aren't (unfortunately) developers, though a number of our staff have made the decision to invest their careers therein. Mostly, we have an existing base of business that can be multiplied if we work with you to leverage our knowledge/workflow system with your ability to code. Current projects may translate to long term development opportunities related to a variety of aspects of mobile healthcare application development. We have established client relationships with major vendors and healthcare institutions. We lack the depth of expertise in building, testing, and deploying the web apps which we are uniquely positioned to launch per our current structure. Our group is targeting major problems within US and global society including addiction, nutrition, weight management, mental health, incontinence, orthopedic injury, and many other areas of healthcare. We are not a startup but are rather funding startup-like endeavors per our current success and clients (who want more). We know enough about code to be dangerous but not enough to actually execute securely. Understanding security, database hardening, and encryption is going to be important. Part of the team downstream if not your core expertise. We are realistic about pricing and looking for motivation, talent, and resonance in long-term partners. Seeking individuals or a team that will be motivated per a social mission (potential for stock) and decent wages but not seeking the same depth of cash as held by the evil banks. We are fighting a war, that's how I see it, to save this country from its own demise. Our current structures and vision are a small part (possibly a big piece) based on our connections with major healthcare institutions. We need massive innovation in healthcare; we have the ideas, we know what needs to be done. Most who have the knowledge to build ground-breaking apps lack the access / that's the marriage we are seeking to make. Budgeting and pricing are very flexible. $10-20k to get us off the ground with near unlimited budgets as we grow. We hold some major web properties that need to be developed based on their search rank as well (think pretty major). We have VC/state interest based on our current structure (not a startup but an early stage with revenues). In thinking about whom we are looking for, we're open to talk with a range of developers from front-end designers to PHP/Ruby/Python developers. Based on a connection, we'll share the projects at hand. Like tomorrow, we could use help with some rather straightforward PHP web app stuff. if you've never developed beyond Wordpress/Drupal, probably not the best fit but open to talking with you. We're seeking individuals who've gotten dirty with Laravel, Codeigniter, or Rails (CI is retired I know). If you're a Laravel developer, please do reach out as that's our preferred framework / but still struggling to learn it. If you and/or your team are more backend, that's okay; we can discuss partners for UX, CSS, etc. I selected per hour / but we could price this project as different ways. For the right team, $50+ is available. Again, very interested in long-term play. Hours per week negotiable / 20-40+ time potential. Bootstrap exp is nice but not needed. Want to talk?
