Type and Length: Project Based, 7-21 days. Location-flexible (home-based). We seek a web designer to create a shopping-cart-based website to be featured on our website finnbay.com. Due to the type of this job; unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor those who are in need of a work/residence visa in Finland/EU. Job Description: The web designer will be solely responsible in creation of a website (from ground to up – script and design creation), which allows visitors (customers) to browse through variety of vendors and purchase goods and services. Project Needs: 1. Search module that will allow users to find vendors by using keywords and an address. 2. Shopping cart module that will allow users to browse and select the services they are interested in purchasing. a. Shopping cart must be elegant in providing all the information such as products’ pictures and descriptions to make the user able to be informed well. 3. Points module that will allow customers to earn points for each purchase. 4. Map module that will show where the vendors are located. 5. Backend module that will allow vendors to update their own details and products and see purchases/order history of their products. 6. Ad module to make it available for vendors to put their ads on homepage and others 7. Translation-friendly. As a web designer, you must be: ? Proficient in computer languages of PHP, AJAX, HTML, and XHTML (as well as to be able to write/obtain them) to deliver the highest quality; ? Able to create the script’s theme (front and backend) to make it easy on the eye looking elegant. ? Excellent at using, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint to communicate with us; ? Social, easygoing, initiative and have a can-do attitude. Qualifications: + Practical knowledge in being able to deliver requirements set above + All Nationalities are welcome. + Excellent knowledge of command in English is a must.
