Hi,

What I have is three Devantech SRF10 ranging sensors , LabVIEW , a NI PCI-6025E card in a computer with a (breakout) board connected to the computer , and am going to connect the SRF10s to a BX-24p module so I can program these SRF10s , this will give me connection of the SRF10s to the computer by a rd232 cable and computer port and therefore to the PCI-6025E card and LabVIEW (I think).

See see <[url removed, login to view]> for what I will have.

PROBLEM : I do not know how to build the interface to LabVIEW from the computer's rs232 or how to deal with the data and am looking for some expert help provided it doesn't cost me too much.

Please quote to provide a VI that will get and plot the realtime data from a single SRF10 ranging module (address on the I2C = 0xE0) , and a VI that will get and and plot the realtime data for 3 x SRF10 ranging modules (address on the I2C = 0xE0 , 0xE2 and 0xE4) , both which communicate via the rs232.

I know this will be trivial for someone who is expert in LabVIEW , but it will really help me get a good start with my project.

Thankyou,

Ian
