API Integration

Project BigBuy API integration General Project Description [login to view URL] is an established e-commerce store in United Kingdom. We would like to sell with drop shipping from [login to view URL] in order to increase turn over and product range. We have not a mixed basket in the shop so to start we want to use only [login to view URL] products, but in the next future we want to add other dropshipping suppliers or add our wharouse products as well. We need to be able to get an overview page at their log in page where they can see tracking information and a calculated delivery date for each product. The API consists of approx. 30 000 different products that need to be updated with price, stock status, category etc. To simplify this we will use the same categories as BB. We can change name in a second time. We need to have a strong, fast and powerful API connection without to use CVS files because BigBuy allow resellers to use CV or XML also. But we want to get the API syncronization because is more powerful. All orders must be redirected to the BigBuy wallet in order to replicate all [login to view URL] orders on the BigBuy website so they can think to delivery to the end user. All these features are in the BigBuy API tasks. In order to be able to reach automatically handling of BigBuy we need to implement a full API solution for following: - Product catalogue - Orders API - Shipping costs - Delivery Tracking - Oreders replication from [login to view URL] to [login to view URL] wallet You find more information on the following page: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] List of operations for above sections API token will be delivered when agreement is final on this project. Sandbox edition during developing and then production version when we reach a fully functional site that is tested, verified and approved from us. IMPORTANT: We want to avoid unuseful tasks like to import every day the same photoes, tha same prices, the same products without any modification mad on the bigbuy website, because WE WANT AN HIGH PERFORMING IMPORT PROCESS and a REALLY FAST syncronization. So API connection must be studied to import ONLY WHAT IS REALLY NEEDED and only what is really changed on the BigBuy website. The sync process must be started every xxx hours and depending how much time the sync needs, we would like every 2 hours. (But depend from how much time the sync will needs) Technical platform Prestashop 1.6.1.7 Server: Apache PHP version: 7.0.20 MySQL version: 5.5.52 Other useful information One of the owners is a highly skilled developer himself and will be technical contact during this project. Due to lack of time we decided to give this to a freelancer. If this turn out to be a successful cooperation we have more work on separate websites in a near future and some add on developing on the current website.
