I have extensive experience with server administration, and cloud deployments and infrastructure on AWS as well as Google Cloud including large scale enterprise infrastructure setup and deployments. I had a few questions for you: 1. In terms of external backups outside of AWS, what is your target platform? Or is that something you require a decision to made on as well? 2. You mentioned S3 usage for static assets/resource storage, can you elaborate further on this? What static assets/resources do you want to push off to S3 for storage? Is this more toward long term storage like for backups etc or are you looking at serving all static assets/resources for the x-cart instance from S3 as well? 3. In terms of training your team (I am assuming Atilus team refers to your team here), what are the expectations/scope of training? And who comprises the "team"? Does the team have a Server/Linux administration background or at least familiarity? It would be great if you could let me know about the above for start, so that I can assess the time and work involved with everything and update my quote appropriately. I preferred AWS, my personal website is in AWS server. Your main requirement is to take over your client's website which is existing on an AWS server and maintain it and upgrade and make it advance by following your specifications. I have few questions, but before that, I like to share my understanding of your requirement. After taking over your client's project I need to separate the project and database. And place them in 2 different EC2 servers. You want to set up the automated backup system. The backup will store in both AWS server and outside of the AWS server. You want to store the files of all type to the Amazon S3 You want to integrate the X-Cart to the project show that user can easily purchase a product from your site. You are guessing that projected traffic will increase every week, --No problem, In my previous project I have install nginx and Varnish Question: You want to setup development and production phase, Please let me know both are stored/placed in the same EC2 server or you will provide another?
