Hello, I am looking for someone to build a google chrome extension which will allow me to orgranize my menus, and library of playlists in alphabetical order on YouTube. Youtube removed this feature after some update awhile back. Requirements: 1) Either a page or browser action which when enabled/active will update the Youtube page library/playlist menu in alphabetical order. a.) i.e: If I have Three playlists with titles, "HipHop Music"; "Programming 101"; "Basketball Highlights," when the extension is enabled the titles will reorganize themselves as, "Basketball Highlights" ; "HipHop Music"; "Programming 101" 2) The action should be specifically for [login to view URL] and should remain active no matter what page of Youtube I navigate to. 3) The extension does not need to persist when the Youtube page is navigated away from, but should continue to work when the user navigates back the Youtube page, or when the user opens another tab and navigates to Youtube.

This is Shamzi here, a web application and browser extensions developer with over 7+ years of work experience in this domain. My major work on the extensions side has been in Chrome (you can checkout my portfolio page to see the last 2 chrome extensions i built on freelancer.com there). Extension Technology & coding (Algorithm): I would love to work on your YouTube Extension to Sort the Playlists alphabetically. I will use jQuery to do the DOM parsing and traversal to fetch the elements which render the Playlists. And then by parsing the DOM, i can check their playlist titles and sort them alphabetically. After that, I'll reinsert the DOM element containers in the correct alphabetically sorted order.
