This project is called Assistance Square Summary: Assistance Square is a free online service that provides first hand information to users about health care facilities and emergency assistance services in cities where they live. The website will be in both in French and English languages, and will be tailored for Haiti to begin with. Objectives: * Assist users in finding first-aid pharmacies and drugs, medical and health care facilities near them, and identify medical professionals that can better respond to their needs. * Help fight drug counterfeiting and ensure safety for all patients. * Provide users with accurate and first-hand information about emergency services available within their area. * Help users find products and services they need in shops nearby, while allowing small businesses to increase footprint and exposure. * Broadcast information such as health events, emergency situation, road traffic etc.. * Create suitable environment for professionals to form communities and groups, share information and even work together Main Features Pharmacies and drug Stores: - Provide lists of All-night 24-hour duty pharmacies per city - Help locate pharmacies nearby - Search database for drug prices and their availability Hospitals and Healthcare facilities: - Provide GPS location and accurate contact information of all public and private health care facilities per city - Provide detailed info of all services and specializations offered including payment and Insurance information - Schedule an appointment online when possible Physicians and Healthcare professionals: - Provide the list of all physicians and their specializations per city - Provide detailed description and background of all physicians including their contact information - Provide GPS location of hospitals or private clinics where they operate and schedule appointment online when possible Drug check: Scan and check drug’s authenticity by using online drug check engines to eliminate drug counterfeiting and ensure safety for all patients . Emergency - Provide GPS location and accurate contact information of all emergency and critical services available per city - Allow users to share information with authorities when witness and accident for instance by sending footage (photos) and GPS location of the event. Business directory - Search for product and services available nearby. - Provide address, GPS location and contact info.
