HI I am Tapas Das from India. I have around 17 years of experience in Java/J2EE technology. I have worked around the globe with organizations like Citibank and Nomura. Since last 5 years, I am working in Payment Domain(with WorldPay and HCE) Highlights of my experience in Desktop Applications : 1. Order Processing Tool - Developed a desktop applications for Nomura(for their traders) where the traders input their orders, the orders are then validated and send to Tokyo/Osaka Exchange for processing. Once the order is processed, the response is also displayed on the tool. It was developed in Java Swing(JTable, JScrollbar and other components were used) along with multithreading to handle the thousands of orders. 2. Drawing file Viewer - This tool takes the inputs of certain standard of files(like IGES,SVGA etc.) from drawing tools like AutoCad. The tool parse the entities in the file and draws the same on a java application. The technology used were Java Swing, MySql. 3. WriteTracker Tool - This tool enables the novel/blog writer to track their progress. Once started, the toll runs in background and checks for the number of words/page written by the user and then depending on the milestones set, it displays the reward/warnings to the user. At once, the tool can track 5 different writing module. The tool used were Core Java and Swing along with Oracle as Database. If provided an opportunity, I am confident of completing the task.
