Import Real Estate Data from a structured textfile into mySQL and WPresidence WordPress Theme

1. Multimandantory Import-Script and store Data in mySQL Database Source File: is IDX 3.01 Format. Its a plain text file with „#“ as separator. Documentation and Example is attached. The file is an export from the real estate portal www.homegate.ch. The life data you find for example here: [login to view URL] File is located in a FTP / Address Target: mySQL Database (on localhost of script) Three Main Tables necessary: Life, Backup, Temporary Create necessary metatables for attributes Suggested Import Process: - Delete „Temporary“ and „Backup“ Table - Create „Backup“ from current „Life“ Table - Open FTP Connection, Download File - Import Text Data in „Temporary“ Table - If error occurred, start 1 x complete process in 30 minutes again and create an e-mail with errorcode - When successfull move content „temporary“ to „Life“ (Delete old content) - If error occurred in last process, restore „Backup“ and start 1 x complete process in 30 Minutes again and create e-mail-report with errorcode Import-Schedule: UTC+1/MET, 9:15, 15:15, 21:15 Necessary Web-App for Administration: - Login (UserID and Passwort) for Administration (No need for multiple Admins) - Add new client: o Client Name o FTP Adress - Edit client - Delete client 2. Import Data in WordPress Theme „WPResidence“ Source Data: mySQL from 1. Part of project Target: Theme WPResidence, [login to view URL] Todo / Objectives: - Import the data into the database structure from WPResidence, avoid any modifications in database structure from WPResidence/WordPress - Integrate the images from external source in the specific pages, views - Always delete existing objects from last import and import everything again (truncate) - Before the import, create a backup from the specific tables and images and restore when import fails (we want to avoid, that the visitor sees and empty page, if the import fails for any reason) - Keep existing frontendcode from WPResidence, if not possible make modifications in child theme (for example for the image galleries) - Theme Settings: Client ID from 1st Step and mySQL credentials
