Here is the answer for free. Hate it when Freelancer will make 5$ out from your tenner. Create a php file, put <?php phpinfo(); ?> in it and you should get the location of the ini file and change the max_execution_time. An easier solution is to try this at the top of your script ini_set('max_execution_time', '3600'); or 0 for no limit. be careful if a script loops it can consume all your memory and crash Apache. Also your web server can have other timeout configurations that may interrupt your script execution

If you use cpanel, there might be a configuration option for this, I believe I've seen it before. Also depending on your environment, setting the script execution limit can also be set in code. There is also a time limit set by apache but I'm not sure if that applies in your case.
