Need help rewriting .htaccess for www. to non www

I have a website the populates fine without www but is not shoing up in MS Edge with www in from of the domain. I need some help with the correct php code for to handle going from www to non www. Also, my site has an htaccess file so I need to rewrite the file without breaking my site. I don't know what the current file is doing. I think this is a super simple project for someone that knows what they are doing. Once you provide the new file, I will copy and paste it into my site and ensure is works.
