hello, i'm a web developer with over 8 years of experience in building large scale custom web applications. one way to accomplish what you want is to store the downloadable files on a seperate server where no one has access to it and the files could only be pulled from that server and downloaded if certain condition(s) is met. in other word store the seperate file on the server no one has the credentials for but you and the download code which will connect to that server and pull the requested file only when the user is authorized to do so. i'll be happy to implement this for you. please visit my profile for previous clients reviews.
