I sell some products on Ebay, and I am trying to collect information on my competitors. I am trying to get the Ebay item ID #s from all of their listings. If possible I would like to get both item ID and sold count for a few particular seller's entire inventory. I used to use Terapeak for this, but that service no longer works so I have to come up with another solution. There are two parts to this project and if you can only complete part one, I am willing to pay for only that. Part 1: Obtain Ebay Item ID's The best way to do this would be to set up some kind of scraper that will scrape all the ebay item ID's for a specific seller and add them to a CSV. Each item ID will be a different cell in the CSV. Some of the stores are very large and could have up to 500,000 products, so this process that is built needs to be able to handle a project of this scale. For example: Seller Q-E-Parts-1-888-219-7710 has roughly 261,000 items in his store. So I would need you to deliver a CSV with all 261,000 item ID's. I would like to repeat this process with multiple sellers, so I will pay you on delivery of the results from the first seller, then I will need you to set the software up on server so that I can run it for another seller when ever I so choose. We can make the 2nd part a separate payment. Part 2: Export sold count for each Product ID With a product ID on Ebay, you can get an individual item's URL. The sold count is on that page's html, so you would most likely have to scrape the whole page's HTML and then separate the sold information and title so that you could later export it to a CSV. For this task I would just need three columns filled in a CSV. Item ID, item title and Sold count. I am willing to pay for part 1 of this task or part 1&2 together, but not just part 2.
