Programming a Employee and Project Assignment website/app/however this would best be done

I am a part of a construction company with quite a few employees. It is becoming too many for the simple excel sheet that was previously being used, and the current resources out there are too much for the people who will be using the program. I am trying to get a website (most likely) that would allow us to add projects with info like the project number, address, etc. Add employees that would give us info like their job title, current project that they are working on(with the days they are scheduled to be on that site) as well as their certifications and emergency contact info. After that, assign said employees to specific projects, schedule the dates they are to be there, then update their info to reflect that. I have attached some photos from the website they found to be too much for them, but has a decent way of going about making it.
