I'm an experienced and certified AWS developer with a focus on serverless; I've recently passed the AWS Developer Associate exam (2018 version) and I've being using AWS for almost two years. I'm working freelancer on small aws serverless/api projects. I'm also working on [login to view URL], at present I'm redeveloping it to be completely serverless. My preferred stack is Angular 6+ (with Amplify to handle Cognito auth), and AWS for backend.
My current setup for AWS serverless development is to use SAM/cloudformation yaml for the infrastructure, with CodePipeline to automate the build process, keeping all configuration and build steps organised and under source control. I use nodejs8.10 to write lambda functions, I write in javascript but use VSCode with JSDocs/Typescript typing system, but can also use typescript and compile and package lambda with webpack, optionally using CodeBuild if a package needs to be build specifically on linux. I'm using SAM local for testing lambda functions and api gateway.
I'm agile and resourceful, keep up to date with new developments, and consider how I can use them in my own projects, look for the best and most efficient tools. I'm a good problem solver, some of the challenging subjects I've undertaken recently include using Box2d (c++ physics library) via webassembly in an Angular app, getting the logical replication logs from RDS postgres db and saving to a S3 bucket, getting highcharts export server to work in a lambda function
