We have the newest Prestashop 1.7 checkout, but every step has the same URL, so in Google Analytics I can't see the drop off in the steps they take. Every step they take is in the url /[login to view URL] So In analytics I can only see how many people got in the checkout and how many successfully left, but I can't see where people did go away like in the step shipping or address.... I need something in the checkout that will send the steps they take to google analytics. My wesbite is [login to view URL] You need to see Step 1 Personal info, step 2 Address, step 3 Shipment option and step 4 payment in analytics. This can be done by making an event by every time they click on the button continue in the checkout. Or do you have better suggestions like something in the URL?

Backed by my experience as a developer and expertise in Google Analytics Premium for 2+ years, I strongly recommend that the best solution for this is to setup Enhanced Ecommerce reports, which would give detailed insights on each of the checkout steps. And also from a SEO perspective I suggest to try and improvise on the checkout URLs as it would help improve the UX of the site.
