Website + Android App

• Website and Android App must have the same template and design. Mobile App shouldn’t be a web app. • Admin Panel to update books and prices and reflect those changes in the app and website. Thus, app and website must have a common database. • User’s Email ID, Password, Mobile Number, Address, Interests required during sign up. Verification via a link sent to the email address mentioned. • Section for users to rent their books and a section where users can buy/rent books listed by others. • While listing the book, books’ Title, Author and a front and back image of the book is required. • Books MRP should be converted into points according to the algorithm and then shown on the page/screen for the users. • Recommend Books based on Interest and previous purchases. • Option to have double verification(via OTP) during sign up.(OPTIONAL) • Scrape Data from Goodreads API and add that to the database so that the information, book name, author, picture displayed from the goodreads website. • Various Search Filters like Genre, Price and Popularity should be present. THE ANDROID APP 1. The three horizontal lines found in app should open a pane consisting of these details: a. Home b. Shop By Genre c. Today’s Deals d. Your Orders e. Rented Out f. Your WishList g. Your Account h. Contact Us 2. Just on the side of the three horizontal lines, there should be a search bar which searches books, authors, genres, etc. Search Suggestions should also be implemented there. 3. On the other side of the search bar, should be a cart which shows the number of items in the cart. Clicking on the cart should take us to the place where rest of the checkout system is located. 4. Clicking on Home should lead the application to the place where the android app initially starts from. 5. Shop By Genre should list the various Genres and on clicking them, show the various Books from those Genres. 6. Today’s Deals would lead to various discounts which are available for that day. 7. Your Orders would show the orders made by the user along with the delivery date. 8. Rented Out would show the books currently rented out by the user and the books the user has listed to rent. 9. Your WishList would show the books the user has shortlisted. 10. Your Account is where the user can change all his account details. 11. Contact Us would lead to a page with our email address. THE WEBSITE 1. Logo on the top left along with the search bar in the centre and fillers on the top right. 2. Display random books to cover the home page. 3. The menu should contain these options: a. Home b. Shop By Genre c. Today’s Deals d. Your Orders e. Rented Out f. Your WishList g. Your Account h. Contact Us 4. Option to LogOut should also be present. 5. Data to be stored on cache so the orders in the cart are still visible even after the user logs out.
