We are looking for UK based software developer who can develop a full comprehensive engine diagnostics program,
This will include (but not limited too):
SRS (Air Bag)
Accurate dash board simulation
Live data Information
Freeze Frame data
We would also like to know if it would be possible to add features such as:
Tyre pressure information
Service light reset
Here is a link to our website to understand what we do in more detail, please read as it is important that we hire someone with experience in developing software for the automotive industry: [url removed, login to view]
You can download the software and run it as a trial/demo version,
We want to use similar coloring to keep the theme close to our website, but as you can see the style of the software is low resolution and a bit retro,
We would like fresh new graphics, hover menu systems, a total redesign to make the user experience as simple and pleasant as possible,
The software must be compatible with all OBD2 vehicles (this is a must), as this will be the core of our demographic (all petrol vehicles from 2001, and all diesel vehicles from 2004).
We currently use an ELM327 to retrieve diagnostic information from vehicles,
But we are aware that this may need to be replaced with something more capable, as we are looking for someone with automotive software experience, we hope you can suggest which opensource interface we could use. Ideally one which will retrieve all of the specified information and more.
We are prepared to invest in developing our own interface, but would rather use pre-existing opensource hardware,
The software will require updates from time to time, so we are looking for someone who we can work closely with, and is UK based. Someone who can suggest new ideas/functions and produce creative/stimulative visuals would be of great benefit as well.
