The students created plans for the design and construction of a handheld infrared thermometer. The device, which consists of an infrared sensor, a microcontroller, an LCD, laser targeting, and a PCB and casing to hold all required circuitry and components, will be described. The sensor used to detect the wavelength and intensity of incoming IR radiation was chosen based on the available built-in optics and filtering circuitry. The microcontroller and LCD were chosen to be able to process the signal provided by the detector, have additional analog and digital inputs for potential additions of sensors later in the project, and to easily display temperature and user-controlled settings on the device. Plans to design a PCB and 3D printed housing for the device will be described. During this portion of the project, the students continued with the solutions to each aspect of the project previously mentioned in report one. The best solution for every part still can have problems and this report will expand on any of those problems encountered. Finally, a Gantt chart is provided to display the schedule for completion of the project.

Hello
I can help you with your project development
I would like to know more details about the hw that you will use or I can suggest something.
I have experience designing this kind of systems so I can guarantee a successful project.
All my designs are documented so the outputs will not be only the codes or squematics. Includes test, timing and design documentation as well.
I would like to chat to give you more details about the solution
Regards
