Program can be written in any language: JAVA, C, .NET

Important here is WORK DONE, FAST and reliable, no matter witch language is used.

Pgm must read .jpg images on a given folder.

Each image contain just 1 barcode, besides other elements.

Every image will be grayscale, 300dpi, scanned A4 page.

Pgm must generate a .TXT file where each line will come with the NUMBER represented on each image.


So, supose that some folder has 3 images, named [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] , [url removed, login to view]

And supose barcode on first one is 5678 ,

second is 779988 and third is 1234567890

So, output file must be:

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]


1- output must be a .TXT file named [url removed, login to view] generated on same folder where images are located

2- each line must contain interpreted barcode (15positions), followed by a '-' and the relative filename+extension (absolute accepted as well)

3- there will be only 1 barcode to be interpreted on each image

4- If NO barcode is located, or the barcode is unreadable, the first 15 positions of output line must contain zeroes.

5- if output .txt file already exists, it can be overwritten without warning.

6- pgm must be as fast as possible

7- pgm must show witch image is been processed (can be in raw mode, cmd window mode, anything that SHOWS pgm running.

8- if NO BARCODE is located, or image is corrupted, or barcode is not readable, the correspondent line must come this way:


9- pgm CAN NOT HANG, in any circunstance.
