Script for copying a file into many different subfolders on windows

Hi, I have a file in a folder that needs to be copied to hundreds of subfolders. I would like to have a script for it, and not do it manually. The folders look like [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and are all part of one big folder. I can give you an Excel list of the names behind the dot (T1, T3, O4, W5,..), but the string before the dot is randomly generated. The same file (same name) exists already inside all subfolders. The script needs to replace the existing file with the new file. The folders are firefox profiles. I use Windows Server 2012. The script could be anything that runs on Windows Server 2012, preferably a CMD, batch or VBS or powershell code, so I don't need additional software. Thank you

Seems like a pretty common task that you need done. Given that you have all the possible file extensions that you mentioned. A simple loop checking for the files in the folders and replacing the old file with the new would do nicely! I make my code very readable and plenty of comments to explain what the technical lines are doing so the code could be reused and or alter for future projects,
