Job Description:
An automatic timetable generator for colleges and universities using Python with a database connection and login page is a software application that helps to create a schedule for classes automatically. It uses a technique called genetic algorithm which is a type of optimization algorithm inspired by the process of natural selection.
Firstly, a user logs into the portal and provides the details of the subjects and their respective timings. Then the software processes this information and generates a timetable automatically using the genetic algorithm. The generated timetable is then saved into a database for future reference.
The genetic algorithm uses a set of rules and constraints to create the timetable in an efficient and optimized manner. These rules and constraints may include factors such as maximum and minimum number of classes per day, maximum and minimum number of classes per week, teacher availability, and room availability.
Finally, the generated timetable can be viewed and printed as required. This software application can save a lot of time and effort for colleges and universities in scheduling their classes and managing their resources effectively.
The UI and interface should be editable as per needed.
