Convert Numpy SciPy Function To Pure Python - Debugging

Hello,

I am trying to convert a numpy function to pure Python.

It uses Numpy SciPy - Maximum Filter.

The provided script uses opencv, numpy and scipy.ndimage.

The issue has been asked on Stackoverflow, there is an answer to help solve this.

I do not have time to finish this myself.

Scripts of the code have been included.

1) Open saved image file.

2) Apply correct method.

3) Apply incorrect method.

4) Show results including difference.

Make METHOD 2 act like METHOD 1.
