I need a shell script that checks the Disk space of a directory everyday and sends the email

Hi, The first part, to check the disk space is simple. Sending an email is also simple in linux (mail or mailx command). But to send an email outside of the server, you need an smtp/mail server. Thanks

I am a C/python programmer by profession and very adept in shell scripting. I'm an embedded developer and I use it routinely to automate tasks for my projects like turning on on/off WiFi of a raspberry pi, toggling gpio ports regularly, Posting http requests to send commands to a device. I have also used cron job run my script regularly after every bootup (I needed this in case the raspberry pi I was running my scripts on rebooted due to power loss). Another script I wrote monitored all the python scripts regularly and restarted them if their processes got killed. So, this seems fairly easy and I'm more than capable of doing this and would like to do the job for you. Please, message me and we can discuss about your project.
