I want to build a biometric attendance system using a Raspberry Pi. The system will use Fingerprint Scanner, Raspberry Pi official camera module, and RFC522 RFID card. There will be a GUI with offline database (SQLite), and the RFID will be used as staff ID cards. It will combine both fingerprint and face recognition to validate attendance for each staff. during enrollment, the GUI will capture names, face, fingerprint, age, department, and other bio data, and also scan the RFID. These data will be stored on a database. During validation, the system will continue to scan for valid RFID card, once it is detected, it will prompt for fingerprint and face. If the captured fingerprint and face are valid, it will record attendance with date and time for the staff.
