Short 3D animations and (some modelling) for automotive industry

One of our clients based in the Netherlands produces the substrate for truck curtain siders (the foldable canvas on the side of a truck). We are creating a online video explaining the difference between their product and the competition. We do the editing, post etc. But for this job we need some CGI. For the animations short clips of an rolling truck in several angels, mostly on white background (floor needs shadow though). We are looking for an animator with an eye for motion detail. The camera's are simple - mostly based on a still camera. Therefore special attention needs to be spend on light effects on the body of the truck suggesting movement (for example something like [login to view URL]). Theside-curtain needs special attention with the impression of wind pushing against the canvas of the trailer and buckles grinding against the canvas. Model(ling) There is plenty we can use out there (based on- or equal to [login to view URL]). We buy the model when the model is satisfactory for you and your job. Some (slight) moderation to be made to the curtain of the trailer. Expected work for modifications should take a couple of hours and a detailled photo-brief will be given for this modifications. Scenes and results The graphics on the canvas of the trailer are created in post-production. Therefore we need separate alpha’s and bump-maps that we can apply in post. Preliminary Scenes • Rolling truck total (loopable) still camera in two angles (about 2 seconds) - One camera movement between those two angels (about 2 seconds) - Two stills of above angles in triple resolution • Two close-ups still camera animations (of canvas and buckles) of rolling truck (about 2 seconds) • An animation of the opening side-curtain (about 4 seconds) • One angle with animation of truck-wash ‘arch’ (model supplied) rolling over truck (about 4 seconds) • Additional scenes may be requested and invoiced separately Desired output Tiff or targa sequence / Resolution 1080i Alpha channel sequence for whole truck Alpha channel sequence for side curtain trailer Gloss map sequence for side curtain trailer Shadow map sequence for side curtain trailer Quality We need to see some relevant portfolio items that show that you can meet our needs.
