In the military field, human skills development comes first tech ones and careers are strictly based on the ability to achieve team goals.
It's a stated fact that people wearing a uniform (not necessarily a military one) tend to be more involved in the company's vision.
What makes this model innovative? Normally, team building and/or leadership skills are developed when we want a group to achieve higher standards. What if we design/develop human soft skills as a part of the whole work-life?
If we want to design a medium/long term successful human resources development process, people’s value has to be improved through a more holistic path: from first assessments on human skills to leadership development, from proactivity to problem solving ability, from design to implementation capacities.
The paper should develop the concept of the importance of developing soft/relationship skills together with tech ones and suggest a detailed training/competence framework that should be adopted from post-university public schools when preparing public servants.
