So I'm definitely capable of doing this upgrade for you. How much automated testing do you have for this application? The basic structure of a RoR upgrade goes something like: * Upgrade 3.2 to 4.0; test extensively; fix any issues * Upgrade 4.0 to 4.1; test extensively; fix any issues * Upgrade 4.1 to 4.2; test extensively; fix any issues * etc, etc. The "test extensively" stage tends to be the most time consuming, and the better the automated testing is the quicker this is. Automated testing is so important in a RoR upgrade process that depending on what your current set up is like I would likely spend a few hours at the beginning of the project working on the test suite. Of course a complete set of testing for a project like this is major project in and off itself, but getting some of the low-hanging fruit tested should be straight forward. Tim
