Hi Bradley, Thank you for inviting me to your project, and congratulations for finishing the first draft of your second novel. As a professional, I take pride in my work, delivering only high quality screenwriting service to my employers, hence hopefully you'll understand the reason for my price. As far as your work is concerned, should you wish to proceed, it will take me a week or two to go through your novel, after which I will summarize the key story events to be incorporated into the screenplay. Also, this process will enable me to plan out the screenplay plot points such as inciting incident, the hook, the midpoint, the second culmination point and of course, the climax of the story. All this will happen with your consent of the summary of course. After you approve the summary, then I will proceed with the screenwriting process. In using one word to describe myself it would be self-discipline. As a Screenwriter I truly understand the hard work and effort that goes into crafting Screenplay's. More importantly the sacrifices that one has to make in order to sit down and write. Writing is truly very hard work and a lot of time is expanded on your writing each day in order to become better at what you do. Oftentimes friends and family members aren't as appreciative of this and for a lot of writers it leads to a sort of giving up or fear of failure. As for myself I know what it takes to sit down and write a screenplay from both choice and responsibility. One of the things that allows me to do this is having passion for the work that I do. Writing screenplay's is my life and it's all that I ever wanted to do, it's one of the greatest joy's in the world that brings me complete satisfaction. What sets me apart from other writers is determination and persistence. I expect to reach the goals that I set out for myself and to be successful as a writer. I'm very self-determined and motivated and I always put forth my best effort in all that I do. I also set goals for myself as a writer working from an extensive outline so that I know point for point where I am in my story. I have adapted literary works into comic format before and have experience with converting prose into script format. I'm excited for this project as it fits perfectly with how I read. Nowadays whenever I read fiction, my mind attempts to see how it can be turned into a screenplay. This would be an opportunity to do just that, with something more mature. I co-adapted the screenplay for the children's book, MauMau at the Rainbow Bridge before, so I'm not entirely new the process.

No one has my experience. Sorry, just being honest and brave. I have experience with both novels and screenplays spanning over a decade. I will gladly send letters of recommendations I have from one Oscar nominated producer and one legendary screenwriter who launched James Dean's career. You can read more at www.ercanbas.com. Subsequently, I do have some clips for your viewing pleasure. Regardless of whether I am selected or not, I will offer some advice on how to choose someone: 1. Make sure they have experience in both novel writing and screenwriting. 2. Quiz them about "Hero's Journey." If they have no idea what that is, congratulations, your list just got smaller. 3. When they discuss the novel with you, there will be some scenes that will be cut from the screenplay for the sake of time. Sadly, that is why most adaptations suck! Make sure the most important ones are cut, and fight to the death for the scenes you demand to keep there. 4. Adaptation is no easy progress and I know this is your baby and it has to be perfect. But let the writer do is job and try to understand the angle before trashing something that was worked on for months possibly :) 5. Writing the screenplay is the last thing that is done. You should have to sign-off on plot outlines, themes,etc. But you already know this as a writer. I know I'm a little costly but I also know what I can bring to you. And if you're serious about adaptation, I wouldn't try to go the cheap route.I wish you the best of luck
