A small web socket server which uses a webcam to track a IR light spot (brightest zone in picture) and translates this into a simple JSON package.

Example: {'xCenter': 50, 'yCenter': 234, 'direction': 'left'}

xCenter / yCenter: center point of the brightest zone

direction: the main direction in which the spot is moving left, right, up, down

Technology: OpenCV or Processing + working on RaspberryPi
