Required Grant Proposal Writer to organize currently written content into a grant proposal format that can be sent to numerous foundations in an effort to raise funding for a STEM Educational project. I currently have a database that allows parents and teachers to signup for math testing. I also have a two video games that are math based and teach the order of operations for solving math problems. In round 1 and 2 the parent or teachers tests students skills in multiples of various numbers. The results are then stored and graphed on my database. The database identifies gaps in math understanding and then allows parents and teachers to set up new games that are based on the weaknesses found. Charts are automatically generated and show the level of mastery of each gap previously discovered. I have an asteroid version of this game that teaches players the order of operation but also includes information on astronomy, moons, distance, historic information about planets and information on asteroid types. The game will be connected to a simulator chair that moves with the student and incorrect results are then felt and delay the ship from reaching the end of the solar system. Funding needed is to make additional modifications to my current database, connect the asteroid portion of the game to the database, provide an Eleetus simulator base for students to play in, design and build a camper that will look like a shuttle craft and hold the simulator chairs (installed) so that kids will be able to play these games inside of this unique camper, tablets to allow classrooms to play at once so that a pilot can be chosen, classroom will compete against classroom. There is a lot to say and I really need an organized mind and gamer to help me provide these type of details in a proposal that can be sent to various institutions to request final funding.
