we are a small startup studio. we are starting of a low budget animated film mid 2011. we are in search of freelance maya rigger. we will be filtering among short listed artists so it might take us some time .
here are the skills that we are looking for
1. good knowledge of model cleaning in maya
2. good and flexible setup technique
3. definitely good skinning
4. good attitude of taking comments and corrections
5. very good turnaround . once in every 24 hrs from the day of work assignment
6. clear english
7. creative and should be able to fill up the details themselves sometimes. eg sometimes due to time constrain we might only provide rough sketches which indicates that the rigger is free to experiment.
we will give the details sketches and terms and conditions after the selection is done. the payment mentioned is just for the time and please give detail cost about per character rigs charge . we will be needing about 20 to 40 characters rigs and we will provide the models.
note: please provide the link to only the rigging work demo. we already have animators and other artists.
