We require a vehicle to be modelled for our modification for ArmA 2. The BMW 5 series estate (2012 version). Due to engine limitations the models must be an absolute maximum of 25k polys/verts, however ideally they should be closer to 20k.
We would like as much detail as possible included within the limit.
The doors, engine hood, boot door and glass should be modelled seperately. An interior is also required but it can be of lower quality than the outside.
Detailed UV mapping is required, however, texturing is not. Animation is not required either.
The final models should be in .3ds format.
We are looking for a fast production time and an artist that is really dedicated to perfection.
If we are satisfied with the quality of the model there is scope for a few more vehicles.
I worked on a similar project but did not need to model the interior of the car. But'd want to be flawless external drive. I also have knowledge with the UDK and Unity engines know sometimes limitations hinder perfect but has to leave his tricks. It would be an interesting challenge.
