I have the desire to build a proof-of-concept e-commerce store. I'd like you to build this POC with Unity.
The experience must allow friends to shop together. They should be able to form a "party" (invite friends) and experience the virtual store, together. Meaning, they should be able to move around the store independently but still be able to talk to each other, clearly.
Also, they should be able to "share" their screen if they are looking at a product in the detail view. The proof-of-concept product should have 3 rooms and users should be able to move between them freely. Each room should offer a very different look and feel. Technically there are 2 rooms that will have a product and the third room should actually appear to be a metro area street (NYC, etc.).
Regarding the products, each should be extremely high-resolution items. One should be a luxury item. Maybe a purse. The second should be super technical athletic wear. The users/players should be able to walk around the product and see each side, top and bottom. There should be a way to touch an indicator/button/something to see the object in full-screen 3D and view the product details. When in the detail view, the user should be able to rotate the product in all directions - the X, Y, and Z-axis. If the user opted to look at the details, the user should be presented with a detail page that shows the following:
- product description (copy - text)
- pricing information
- sizing (if appropriate)
- product name
- marketing information
- additional product colors
- additional product views (high-resolution photos).
The game should afford me the ability to "pop" into the game with others. This allows us to act as store associates to help people navigate the environment.
We would like the POC to integrate with a virtual try-on solution. So, the players can put the item ON their avatar and see how it looks. The best solution found is YourFit by https://www.3dlook.me. This should be integrated into the POC – demo (non-production) license.
The desire to have the POC completed asap.
The above description is narrowed down as we require an NDA for full details on which products to showcase, how the environment should look, and other feature-functionality.
