Hi, I can use Tesseract open source library to extract text from PDF files which has images in it. I have used this library in my past project and will do good job in your project. In which language the PDF contents will be? Looking forward to work with you. Waiting for your reply.

OCR by using MODI assembly is good programming for character recognition and we just did the same for our another client.
