Scenery needed for Music Video using CGI and VFX

I'm in need of CGI/VFX for a music video. It wouldn't be complete for about a month. But one scene would be my clothes needing to be switched as I'm in a still position. I have already recorded some scenes in White Sands, New Mexico which is pure sand hills except for several plants throughout. My concern is making the plants look like they're growing as I'm walking through the hills. There would be different angles shown of me walking through the wasteland. Plants forming along the way is something that needs to be possible as the camera is moving.
White Sands needs to change to a forest quickly in one scene as I continue to walk. The following scenes would be actual forest footage most likely from a different angle. The transition needs to be smooth and blend. The change of scenery would be just a few seconds long. But Im really hoping for it to be realistic and believable. Besides that I think there would only be little very subtle things that would need CGI. A preview of the video may be posted later on. Thank you for your time!
