I'm looking for an experienced virtual assistant to help me plan and manage a monthly meetup. The meetup requires attention to detail and strong communication skills. A background in event planning and coordination is critical. If you are bidding on behalf of a company, you must guarantee me that I will get the same person every time for continuity purposes. Key responsibilities: - Event planning: You'll be responsible for coordinating the logistics of the virtual meetup, including invites and pre and post-event surveys - Guest coordination: You'll be in charge of liaising with our guest speakers and attendees. It's important to ensure they have all necessary information, schedules, and are well taken care of during the meetup. I will establish themes and connect you with speakers. 10X per year we will do a single presentation, 2X per year it will be a panel with 3-4 participants - Marketing and promotions: You'll help promote the meetup through various channels, including social media and email campaigns. You should be able to dedicate 10-20 hours per month to this project, with the possibility of additional hours closer to the event date. The primary mode of communication will be through Slack and email. You should be comfortable coordinating through this medium and be responsive in a timely manner.
